Description
Yarn Lubricant: WAX-4101
Brief introduction
Yarn lubricant WAX-4101 is a paraffin-free wet waxing agent, which is unsurpassed for obtaining lowest friction values. It is used for yarns preferably from cellulose, cellulose/synthetics to obtain good gliding properties.
Key Features
Imparts high surface smoothness.
Low friction values can be obtained.
Non-volatile
Resistant to yellowing under usual drying conditions
Good feel on soft and smooth
Compatible with non-ionic or cationic smoothing agents.
Good stability, non-stick slip, no oil floating
Properties
Physical form white emulsion
Composition preparation of polyethylene and waxes
Ionic non-ionic, slightly cationic in acid medium
Solubility easily dispersible in cold water
Applications
WAX-4101 is prediluted with cold water whilst stirring and added to the liquor.
To achieve a high surface smoothness and good friction values on yarns, primarily on cellulosic fibres and their blends,
0.5 – 1.5 % WAX-4101(related to the weight of yarn)
After a prerun in a slightly acidic finishing liquor at pH 5.5 – 6.0 for ca. 5 min, the temperature is slowly raised to 40 °C, and the material is treated at this temperature for ca.15 – 20 min.
Depending on the control parameters of the machine, the liquor circulation should be 1 : 2 inside-outside / outside-inside.
In case of insufficient bath exhaustion, the addition of ca. 0.5 – 1.0 ml/l acetic acid 60 % is recommended.
Drying can be carried out
Packing and storage
Package: 120KG/Drum.
