COMPOSITION

Polyethylene, non-ionic, weakly cationic in acid medium

 

USES

Additive for improving the sewability of wovens and knitgoods of all fibre types softener for conferring smoothness .

PROPERTIES

– Readily dilutable with cold water

APPLICATION

Sewing damage, especially in knitted goods are the most expensive source of errors, since they will only appear at the end of the value-added chain of the textile production and are irreversible. They can be easily avoided though by the smoothing and lubricating effects of WAX-4211.

WAX-4211 confers very good sewability properties to wovens and knit goods of all fibre types . WAX-4211 dstinctly redues the needle penetration power , thus avoiding irreversible loop damage . The wash-resistant handle effects are soft , supple and smooth .

Dilute the product with cold water (weakly acid PH value ) and add it to the prepared liquor

Pad process

10 – 30 g/l WAX-4211

Exhaust method

2 -4 %  WAX-4211  – on weight of fabric –

Soften at PH 5.5-6.5 for 10-20 min at 40°C- 50°C

If simultaneously applied with anionic products precipitations may arise . For safety reasons always run preliminary trials

We advise against a combined water-repellent finish . The additional use of WAX-4211 may significantly impair the water repellency

 

STORAGE:  

125KG plastic drum, room temperature.
