Low Temperature Crosslinker and Booster: WRC-6102

Application Area:

Low Temperature Crosslinker and Booster for water repellent

Fixing component for combination with FC or Free-PFCs emulsions for the water, oil and soil-repellent finish.

No high curing temperatures necessary.

Components:

Blocked polyisocyanate, cationic

Properties：

– Milky emulsion

– Improves the film formation and permanence of water repellent agent at 100°C curing temperature

– Low Temperature Crosslinker and Booster for water repellent

– pH value ca. 3 – 5

– Compatible with many n-methylol compounds

– Good stability and excellent continuity

– Dilutable with cold water

– Free of butanone oxime

Application：

According to fabric type and treatment effect, the recommended dosage is 10-30g/L.

Th No high curing temperatures necessarye product is diluted with cold water and added to the finishing liquor. Adjust the liquor to pH 4.5 – 5 (acetic) to improve the liquor stability.

We advise against the simultaneous use of water-repellents or softeners, e.g. on silicone basis, since it affects the stain repellent effects, especially against oily soilings.

WRC-6102 is compatible with many finishing agents of cationic or non-ionic character. Run preliminary trials to check the suitability. In general, the shear resistance of finishing liquors with perfluorinated compounds is limited. There should therefore be as little liquor turbulence as possible.

Storage:   

120KG plastic drum,  room temperature. The product is sensitive to frost and heat and must not be stored at temperatures below 0℃ or above 40℃. Irreparable damage is possible. In the case of suspected frost or heat damage, the usability of the product has to be checked before processing. In order to avoid quality loss, it is necessary to always close the drums after use.
