Formaldehyde-free Fixing Agent DYA-2101 is used for improving the fastness of dyeing and prints with direct or reactive dyestuffs, especially the wash fastness properties, formaldehyde-free

Properties

– Clear, yellow to brownish red liquid

– Can be diluted with water by any ratio

– Readily soluble in cold water

– High resistance to hard water salts, alkalis and acids

– Not compatible with anionic substances

– Improves the wet and wash fastness

– Does not affect the handle, the sewability

– Does not or only slightly impair the light fastness

– Formaldehyde-free

Application

The quantity of DYA-2101 necessary for the desired fastness improvement is dissolved in cold water and added to the application liquor. The dyed and thoroughly rinsed material is treated with DYA-2101 for 15 – 20 min at 20 – 50 °C at a pH value of 5.5 – 6.5.

The valid ingredient of DYA-2101 is about 60%, it can be used direct or after being diluted by ratio of 1:3-1:4.

Recommended dosage:   

Exhaust process        0.5 – 1.5 %   DYA-2101(depending on the depth of shade)

Pad process            5- 15g/L    DYA-2101(depending on the depth of shade)

Packing and Storage

125kg plastic drum.

The product can be stored for 12 months under cool and well ventilated condition.
